What to Expect at MFF
Melbourne Fashion Festival (or any fashion week for that matter!) can be incredibly daunting and sometimes overwhelming! From show and event scheduling to wardrobe planning, here’s what to expect at this year’s MFF. * Hint hint.. Rntr. may be hosting two FREE events so keep reading for all of the deets.
The 2022 MFF mission is “to unite Australia through fashion” which has already attracted online payment company PayPal as the new naming sponsor, along with the inevitable questions of whether the Melbourne event is straying across the border into the Sydney stomping ground of Australian Fashion Week, sponsored by Afterpay.
The ten-day program will run from March 3 to 12 and will feature free and ticketed events including runway shows, workshops and shopping events.
The festival will mainly be based in Fed Square and the space will undergo a transformation into a dedicated fashion district – expect glamorous experiences and heaps of fashion pop-ups. Events will also be taking place at other venues around Melbourne, including the Queen Victoria Market and Collingwood Yards.
