Where do the items come from?

We partner with brands that strive to do better for their community and the world. These garments come directly from your favourite brands to be managed and looked after by Rntr. so we can ensure the quality and authenticity and offer a full range of sizes for each style. 

Do I have to clean the items?

Nope! A cleaning fee is included when you borrow so you can return them to us and we take care of it for you. To keep all your pieces fresh, we encourage you to air them out after each wear. To ensure the quality and prolong the life cycle of each garment, please make sure you don’t clean the item yourself. If the item absolutely needs to be cleaned please get in touch with our customer care : hello@getrntr.com

What happens if I damage or lose the items?

We get it, a bit of wear and tear might happen. That's why we include an insurance fee in the rental fee to cover $100 worth of minor stains and damage. However, significant damage and theft aren't covered under insurance. To give our brand partners peace-of-mind, if the item is damaged beyond repair or never returned, the renter will be charged the market value of the item to the credit card you used for the order or to another card linked to your account.

Can I return them before the due date?

Absolutely, if you are ready to return before the due date of the item you've rented, please put all the items back in the prepaid reusable package, drop them off at the post office and we will send you the confirmation email when we receive the item.

Can I extend the borrowing period?

Yes! You can hold onto your item longer (unless the item is reserved). The booking will automatically be charged as a minimum rental period. Please let us know at least 2 days before your original return date.

What happens if I return the garment late?

Unfortunately late return creates the domino effect, if you do happen to miss your return date and send your order back late, then a late fee of $30/day, per item, applies.

Please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to help you return the garment(s) the fastest possible way.

 

How do I know if garments will fit?

We know, fit can be nerve-wracking. Often you would already know your size in your favourite brands but if you are unsure about how a certain style or brand will fit, please get in touch with our stylist team. While on the off chance the items do not fit, we'll do everything we can to get you a replacement style. Please get in touch within the first two days of receiving your items, and we will work with you to find a suitable alternative.

We have a TRY ON option for those who would like to be 100% sure their rental will be the perfect fit. Currently this is only for select items (more to come soon!) and is a $50 flat fee. Once you receive your item you have 24hrs to send it back. This is strictly for fit checks only. If our team has reason to believe the item has been worn out or needs to be cleaned you will be charged a 4 day rental fee.

How long can I keep the item?

You have an option to keep them for 4, 8, 14 or 30 days. Select the date that you would like the item to arrive and we will do our best to ensure that it gets there on time.

The last day of your rental period is the day you send back your items, make sure you get it to a post office before 5pm that day!

If your rental date ends on a Sunday, lucky you! You get to keep it for another day as post offices aren’t open on Sundays. You will not be charged extra for this day.

Will the dresses need to be pressed upon arrival?

Wouldn’t we all love to be wrinkle-free? But alas, sometimes despite all our efforts, they just sneak up on us. We always aim to make sure your items arrive wrinkle-free. By steaming and pressing your items before carefully packaging them and sending them on their way, we hope they arrive in ready to wear condition. If they do show up a bit creased, try giving the item a low-heat steam or contact our customer care for advice at : hello@getrntr.com  

Can I get a refund?

Absolutely, you can cancel the order 12 hours before shipping to get a full refund. If you have an unworn item because it doesn’t fit, you change your mind or the event gets canceled. For whatever reason might be, please let us know and send it back to us within 3 days of receiving it, and we can offer you either a full refund or a credit note. To be eligible for the refund or credit note, all items must be unworn and in the same condition with tags attached.

What does Rntr. charge?

The rental fee is usually set by brands between 15%-30% of RRP. The fee includes dry cleaning, standard shipping, prepaid return packaging, insurance (cover up to $100 worth of minor stain & repair), customer service and stylist team.
